Tax Advisory Structure that holds up under scrutiny.
Tax strategy, structuring and controversy support for businesses operating across borders, built to work commercially and to stand up when tested.
Good tax advice is not about the lowest possible rate. It is about a position the business can sustain: commercially sensible, properly documented and defensible when an authority asks questions years later.
Tax as part of business decisions
The most expensive tax problems are created by decisions made without tax in the room: where to employ people, how to price intra-group services, how to invoice an overseas customer, how to hold intellectual property. We work with leadership while those decisions are being made, so the structure follows the business rather than the other way round.
Cross-border by default
Most of our clients operate in more than one country, or plan to. We advise on residence and permanent establishment risk, treaty positions, withholding taxes, transfer pricing and the flow of profits between entities. The international tax environment is changing quickly, with authorities sharing more information and scrutinising substance more closely, and positions that worked five years ago may not hold today.
Ready for scrutiny
Every position we recommend is documented with its reasoning, its risks and the evidence that supports it. When an assessment or audit arrives, the work has already been done. And if a dispute does escalate, our team represents clients through the process, drawing on the same people who built the position in the first place.
What clients bring to us
Structures that no longer fit
A group set up for one market has grown into several, and the original structure now creates leakage, double taxation or substance risk.
Intra-group pricing under the spotlight
Authorities increasingly test whether related-party charges reflect real value, and documentation often lags the business.
Uncertain positions on new business models
Digital services, remote teams and cross-border contracts raise questions the existing rules did not anticipate.
Disputes that drain management time
Notices and assessments arrive without the records to answer them, and responses are assembled under pressure.
How an engagement runs
Map the business
Entities, flows of goods, services, people and money, and the decisions coming up in the next two years.
Identify risk and opportunity
Where the current position is exposed, where it is inefficient, and what the options cost.
Design and document
A recommended position with the reasoning, evidence and implementation steps written down.
Defend and review
Representation when positions are tested, and an annual review as the business and the rules change.

Tax Advisory: frequently asked questions
Do you advise on tax outside India?
Our core practice covers India and the United States, and we advise on how positions in those countries interact with the other jurisdictions our clients operate in, including treaty access, permanent establishment and transfer pricing.
When should transfer pricing be considered?
Before the first intra-group transaction, not after. Pricing intra-group services, financing or intellectual property is far easier to defend when the policy is set and documented upfront.
Can you help with an assessment that is already underway?
Yes. We review the position, assemble the evidence and represent the business through the process. Early involvement usually narrows the issues considerably.
Is tax planning still possible with global anti-avoidance rules?
Yes, but it has to rest on real substance and commercial purpose. We focus on structures that make business sense first and are efficient second.
